Brian Fredericks has more than three decades of experience within the supply chain management arena. He specialises in procurement and logistics transformation for organisations and has been successful in over achieving the transformation objectives captured in the policies and strategies of those entities.

Brian played executive roles as Chief Procurement Officer in many blue chip and public companies for more than twelve years therefore his professional capability to deliver results is testimony to his vast knowledge of the profession and industry.

He developed and implemented supply chain management appropriate to best practices and strategies for the Oil and Gas; Broadcast Media; Logistics and Rail industries including restructuring the supply chain business model to reduce operating input costs and improve service delivery.

Brian skillfully implemented "Back2Basics" procurement processes with emphasis on corporate governance and compliance in line with the legal frameworks in which the industry operates. Other initiatives implemented are the improvements to the Tenders and Governance processes; Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment programmes; Fleet and Transportation improvement programmes; Inventory and Warehouse Optimisation project which includes reducing warehouses, reducing inventory and improving internal controls.

Brian holds a B.COM in Industrial Psychology from UNISA, Advanced Management Program from Wits Business School, Strategic Management Certification from the Wharton Business School in Pennsylvania and several qualifications in production, inventory, and procurement management from various accredited institutions.
